I've talked about the Spider-Man Pick-Two Draft the past few weeks. I have shared my opinions and a few tips. This week, I want to dive deeper into actionable, how-to advice.

Seeing this Pro Tour top 8 of mostly newer, younger faces, I found myself thinking a lot about Magic and where it's going.

While I was privy to the early access event, this week we all got access to play Spiderman Limited. Err, I mean, Omenpath. Whatever they want to call it, the set's reviews have been, to put it politely, mixed.

I finally got to play Spider-Man Limited in the streamer event. I had a good time with the set, especially with the new draft format.

Alchemy is a remix of an existing format and has made it more fun every time. Adding a midseason twist to a format that I have drafted 100 or more times can only be an upside.

I've played Edge of Eternities Limited so much that, at the time of this writing, I'm ranked first on the Mythic Ladder. That's right, this fella got his groove back.

Edge of Eternities is an extremely unique environment, and no, I don't mean outer space. The spacecraft mechanic has proven to be a tough nut to crack.

My initial impressions of the format are that it won't stack up to Final Fantasy Limited, but it's been a lot of fun and a bit challenging to figure out exactly what I should be doing.

This format has been tricky. At the time of writing, I've played over 350 games of the format with a win percentage of approximately 64%.

Final Fantasy is a unique set. There are lots of overlapping synergies and decisions in the gameplay and, most importantly, the drafting portion.

I spent some time drafting the set, and while Alchemy didn't solve the issue, it improved the format, though not by a substantial amount. Adding more powerful cards at least led to some interesting decisions.

I was hyped coming into this set, and for what it's worth, I enjoyed Dragonstorm Limited in the honeymoon phase. My enjoyment started to plateau early, and the fun decreased at an accelerated rate. Dragonstorm Limited feels like an underpowered cube or battlebox. It's a pile of fairly powerful cards and mana fixing.

Dragonstorm finally hit the digital shelves, and I've spent some time watching and playing the format. It's a breath of fresh air after an unexciting Aetherdrift Limited.

Limited has been saved! Aetherdrift Limited went from zero to hero with the inclusion of Alchemy cards.

This past weekend we witnessed a dear friend of mine, Matt Nass, hoist the trophy and become our new Pro Tour champion.

Aetherdrift Limited has been out for a decent amount of time. I'm enjoying the set more than I thought I would, but the format has issues.

Aetherdrift is officially here! I finally have my first drafts under my belt, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the format.

Did Pioneer Masters feel like an organic Limited format? I don't think so. It's fun for a bit, but the format plays differently than most.
